Details

Ishango socks feature a naive and sketch like black and white design with a pop of bold pink. All of our socks take inspiration from traditional African designs, and Ishango draws from traditional Adinkra symbols.

The Adinkra symbol, 'Nkyinkyim', represents what everyone needs to have to achieve true success - 'initiative, dynamism and versatility'.

Our Ishango socks get their name from the Ishango bone, found at the "Fisherman Settlement" of Ishango in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and thought to be one of the oldest mathmatical tools ever discovered.

Our socks are designed in the UK and are made out of a combed cotton blend, making them soft and durable.
